Welcome to FitItFloorings.com! This is a blog dedicated to flooring and everything related to it. Read and learn about a variety of flooring types and techniques including hardwood flooring, linoleum, vinyl, and laminate flooring. There are plenty of ways to go about this in your home and it’s important that you do it right, especially if you plan on staying there for awhile. I have been a homeowner for many years and really have taken a huge interest. I have wood flooring in some homes and others I’ll go with vinyl flooring. There is a time and place for each specific type and many homeowners these days tend to not be able to make the right choice. In fact, one of the most common mistakes that I see is people going with the more expensive alternative thinking that since the price is high, it must be a lot better. That is not the case for all flooring styles, sometimes the cheapest alternative is often what’s best. It is these sorts of things that we will be discussing in full throughout FitItFloorings.com. My goal is to help people of all ages, but mainly first time or recently new homeowners. I have been there and done that, I understand how overwhelming that can be and you can feel hopeless at times. I noticed I was particularly knowledgeable when I was helping out my neighbors last summer, they told me that they had never heard anything like what I was telling them before.

We will be going over basement flooring and will touch on how you can actually compliment your newly installed flooring. There will also be a section of Do’s and Don’ts and a section of Pro’s VS Con’s. I will be posting various flooring images and videos so that everyone can find something. Sometimes all it takes is a quick flick to teach what would have otherwise taken thousands of words to communicate. I fully expect there to be some disagreements with my suggestions and advice and I am okay with that. Everybody is entitled to their own opinion but let me just say this, you won’t know unless you try. Don’t be so quick to judge. There have been many instances I have had with flooring, whether it be ordering it, finding the best deal, or even the daily maintenance that comes along with brand new hardwood flooring, that have brought me great knowledge. I want to be able to spread those ideas across the world and I figured the best way to do that was with a flooring blog.
